Backcountry skiing

TrollAktiv has the full range of equipment needed for large groups to have a classic Nordic ski experience in the hills close to the Centre.  Experienced instructors lead guided trips in an ideal mix of trails and off-piste in open pine forests.  Accommodation and catering are available for groups planning multi-day trips.  We concentrate on teaching you all the basics for backcountry skiing and ensuring you have a lot of snowy fun with your friends at the same time.   

 

 

Duration:  Day or multi-day trips

 

Equipment you need:  Small rucksack, hot drink lunch, wind & waterproof outer clothing, warm mid layer, wool socks, long johns & undershirt.  Woollen hat and gloves. 

 

Equipment provided:  Skis, sticks, boots, skins, waxes, avalanche safety gear.  First aid equipment and wind shelter carried by instructor.
